William is a credit advisory and structuring specialist with over 12 years spent in corporate investment banking and 4 years ratings advisory & credit products development experience.  

Prior to joining BlueOnion, William was the Head of Customer Success and Market Intelligence at Moody’s Analytics as well as the Project Finance Subject Matter Expert for the Asia Pacific region. Whilst at Moody’s, William was the key consultant for various engagements including advising the Green Climate Fund for allocation of capital for adaption and mitigation projects; and advised Japan International Cooperation Agency on development of its credit ratings tool. 

 William is passionate about sustainability, land use, housing, and youth development. William is a HKFYG Global Seminar scholar and was a delegate to the Leadership for Inclusive Futures in Asia program held on Peace Boat, and an Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council scholar. 

 William holds an EMBA from Quantic School of Business & Technology, a Postgraduate Diploma in Finance and Law from University of Hong Kong, and a Master of Science in Intelligent Systems from University College London.
