Dr. Daryle Lee - Chief Data Officer (Ph.D. CFA, FRM, MIETV)
Before joining BlueOnion, Dr. Lee was the Senior Manager at CLP, leading business strategy function delivery of various strategic and development plans.
During his tenure at CLP, he has been mainly responsible for developing business and sustainability-related strategies and analytical models in the company's jurisdictions, such as Hong Kong and Australia. He also created 'slow,' 'medium,' and 'fast' long-term business transition scenarios to project a group-wide investment portfolio. He set them against the IEA and BNEF's projections for establishing Energy Transition and Clean Energy Targets under CLP's Climate Vision 2050.
He's also led the delivery and development of carbon emissions models, Scope 3 emissions inventory studies, Science-based target, social impact measurement benchmark studies, internal carbon pricing model, carbon pricing analysis and forecasting, Sustainability Report (Chinese), CDP (Electric Utilities & Water)
He is highly experienced in scenario planning and risk assessment for project portfolios in power systems while leading the development and resources (CAPEX) allocation of unique projects, conducting scenario planning, researching data science, technology & trends, and developing content containing insights and implications of emerging trends and technologies.
Dr. Lee is a CFA, FRM, with a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.
Mr. Hailong Han - Chief Technology Officer (PMP, MSC)
Hailong is a certified project management professional with 20+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture design, project planning, implementation, and execution. He has a wealth of experience as Senior Software Architect and Project Manager for global large-cap companies.
He is highly experienced in developing programs for algorithmic trading software and building quantitative trading models using Data Mining, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Big Data analysis, and traditional technical analysis.
His rich experience in Data Analysis, collection, cleansing, validation, mapping, and profiling is a critical bridge between the data and the technology team is a vital bridge between data and tech. He speaks 30 programming languages and has been a Certified PMP since 2010.
Hailong earned his Master's in Computer Science and Technology from Tsinghua University and his Bachelor's in Physics from Northeast Forest University in Harbin.

As Chief of Staff at BlueOnion, she ensures the company brand represents responsibility and sustainability while collaborating across teams to align messaging and drive innovation.
Mr. Paul Shelton - Group Head of Legal & Compliance (LL.B.)
Paul is an experienced veteran with a demonstrated history of working in legal, compliance, banking, non-bank financial services, and related industries.
During his 30 years of legal and compliance practice, he has developed his expertise in Risk Management, AML, Sanctions, KYC, internal investigations, and regulator relationship management.
Before joining BlueOnion, Paul was Head of Compliance and MLRO at First Abu Dhabi Bank's Hong Kong branch. He was also the APAC Country Regional Director at JPMorgan Chase Bank, overseeing all MLROs and AMLOs and undertaking regulatory management, AML/Sanctions, and risk assessment. Before that, Paul was also the Head of Legal and Compliance at Macquarie in Tokyo and Hong Kong, undertaking responsibilities for all legal and compliance-related activities of the group companies in those jurisdictions. Paul was also made Senior Director and Group Legal Counsel at American Express, taking responsibility for legal and regulatory aspects of the bank's Asian activities, including China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan.
He recently became interested in sustainability matters and has written occasionally for the Taiwan Banker (a Taiwan Academy of Banking and Finance publication).
Paul is an Australian citizen and was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland. He later became a law lecturer and tutor for the University of Queensland and Queensland University of Technology.
He has an LL.B. (Hons), a Bachelor of Commerce, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland.
Mr. Geoffrey Lam - Chief Corporate Development Officer
Geoffrey Lam is an investment professional with over 25 years of experience in global alternative assets, with deep expertise spanning venture capital, private equity, hedge funds, and real assets. In the past decade, Geoffrey has sourced, evaluated, executed, and advised on venture capital and private equity investments for family offices and asset managers, focusing on fintech, climate technology, AI/robotics, life sciences, deep tech, and blockchain.

Ronald Chan founded Chartwell Capital in 2007 and serves as Chief Investment Officer and Co-Portfolio Manager. As CIO, he steers the firm's investment strategy. As Co-Portfolio Manager, he oversees the stock selection and portfolio allocation.
Since 2018, he has been appointed by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council to serve as a member of the Greater Bay Committee: Smart City and Digital Connectivity Task Force. In 2020, the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park appointed him as a founding member of the Hong Kong Biotech Development Council. Since 2016 he has also served as a member of the Listing Committee Panel of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.
Ronald is a regular contributor to Bloomberg Opinion and Financial Times Chinese. Alexandra Tracy is President of Hoi Ping Ventures in Hong Kong, which she founded to provide research and consult on green finance and sustainable investment in Asian emerging markets.
She is currently Private Sector Observer to the World Bank's Climate Investment Funds, having served as an Active Private Sector Observer to the United Nations Green Climate Fund for several years. Alexandra is also Chairman of the Financial Services Research Group, an independent thinktank in Hong Kong, and a director of RIMM Sustainability Pte Ltd in Singapore. She sits on many advisory boards in Hong Kong, including Carbonless Asia, Friends of the Earth Hong Kong, the Asia Pacific Investors Cooperation, and the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology's Asian Family Business Research Centre.
Alexandra speaks and writes regularly on sustainable finance, development, and infrastructure issues. She is also a director of the Climate Markets & Investment Association in the UK and an advisor to the NDCI.org climate commitment community. From 2013 to 2019, Alexandra was a member of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Listing Committee. She acted as Chairman of the Association for Sustainable & Responsible Investment in Asia for six years, stepping down in 2015. She was instrumental in establishing the Asia Investor Group on Climate Change during this period.

Farzana is the Director of Kintillo Limited, a U.K.-based workplace consultancy. She advises, coaches and facilitates training on how to integrate human rights issues, in particular equity, diversity, anti-racism, and inclusion, into organizations and leadership.
Farzana started her career as a Barrister in the Middle Temple, London. She later joined Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong as their in-house employment counsel for the Asia-Pacific region. In 2009 Farzana established her own workplace consultancy (Kintillo) and was appointed as Principal Lecturer in the Faculty of Law at the University of Hong Kong where she designed and taught a postgraduate PCLL elective on Employment Law and a Master's elective on Business and Human Rights. Farzana lived and worked in Hong Kong for a period of 18 years. In her capacity as a lawyer and as a workplace consultant Farzana has worked with businesses, the public sector, and NGOs across diverse cultures and jurisdictions, focusing on making the workplace an equitable, discrimination-free, anti-racist and inclusive environment.
Farzana is a graduate of the London School of Economics (LLB. (Hons)) and the University of Oxford (BCL), and is a member of the Middle Temple (called to the Bar in 1993).

Paul Smith, FCA, CFA, MA, based in Hong kong, is an independent corporate director with significant experience in the Financial Services and Investment Funds industries. He served as President and global CEO of the CFA Institute from January 2015 to September 2019.
Previously, Paul owned and ran Asia Alternative Asset Partners, a Hong Kong-based Hedge Fund Management Group, where he acted as a Responsible Officer holding Types 1, 4, and 9 Licenses under the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission's rules. He first came to Hong Kong in 1996 to run the Bank of Bermuda's securities servicing business. He acted as Global Head of HSBC's alternative funds servicing company upon its sale to HSBC. From 1984 to 1995, he worked for Ermitage International, a European fund manager, spending the last seven years as CEO.
Paul currently serves as a member of the Oversight, Policy and Governance Committee of the Financial Reporting Council of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission's Products Advisory Committee. He is a founder of the SustainFinance initiative and a trustee of the China Insight Foundation.
Paul started his career as an auditor at PriceWaterhouse in London. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Accountants of England and Wales, a Chartered Financial Analyst, and a Master of Arts degree from Oxford University. He has lived and worked for extended periods in the UK, USA, France, and Hong Kong.

Pamela Mar is the newly appointed Managing Director of the Digital Standards Initiative (DSI) of the International Chamber of Commerce, based in Singapore.
The DSI is a public private partnership backed by the ICC, Asian Development Bank, World Trade Organization and the Singapore government, dedicated to accelerating the digitalization of global trade as a key driver of growth, development and inclusion.
Prior to joining the DSI, Pamela was Executive Vice President for Supply Chain Futures, and then EVP for Knowledge and Applications for the Fung Group, a Hong Kong based multinational supply chain manager where she was also the first Group head of Sustainability. She was named one of Asia's ten A-list sustainability leaders in 2019, and is a recognized industry leader in this area. Prior to moving to Hong Kong, Pamela was based in Shenzhen as a Director of Global Finance for TCL Multimedia Technology, the first major Chinese company to go global by buying a foreign brand.
Prior to TCL, Pamela ran Greater China for the World Economic Forum, based in Geneva for five years. Pamela was born in New York and went to university in the USA, but has spent the majority of her life abroad, with stints in Bangkok, London, Geneva, Shenzhen, and now Hong Kong.
Mr. Anthony Cheung - Advisory Council Member
Mr. Anthony Cheung is a specialist in Green and Sustainable investments, ESG Engagement, and Climate Governance in Asia. He is currently a Supervisory Board Member, World Benchmarking Alliance (WBA), and the Vice Chairman and Convenor of Green Finance at Friends of the Earth (HK).
Anthony was the first in Asia who attain the Certified ESG Analyst® (CESGA) designation. He holds various industry positions, including CFA Institute ESG Technical Committee members and the Green and Sustainable Insurance Working Group Co-chair, Hong Kong Green Finance Association (HKGFA). He has been appointed Examiner and Lecturer of the Certified ESG Analyst® program by the European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies (EFFAS).

Mr. Arun Kelshiker - Advisory Council Member
Arun Kelshiker was the former Head of Asset Allocation and Portfolio Strategy at Standard Chartered Bank and a senior portfolio manager and country Chief Investment Officer with Allianz Global Investors / Allianz Group. He brings close to twenty years of multi-asset & ESG career experience, having managed institutional assets and provided investment advisory with leading international asset managers and banks. In his role as the Head of Asset Allocation and Portfolio Strategy at Standard Chartered Bank, he provided investment advice and best of breed fund solutions for clients. He was part of Standard Chartered's Global Investment Committee, and the author and responsible for multi-asset and alternatives within Standard Chartered global publications for several years. He also delivered the bank's roboadvisory & digital investment advisory solutions.
Arun's institutional background has been with Allianz Global Investors (AGI) and Allianz Group, in which he was involved at the start of AGI. As a senior equities portfolio manager, and later Country CIO, he successfully managed institutional investment mandates and was involved in setting up transparent and robust investment processes, focusing on investment returns, risk management and high-quality governance and accountability.
Together with Cambridge University's Center for Resilience and Sustainable Development and Cambridge Sustainable Investment Partners, Arun delivers responsible / sustainable investing solutions, consultancy and training for asset owners, asset managers and industry organisations. He is also on the Advisory Council of BlueOnion, a leading fintech focused on providing ESG data solutions and analysis to asset owners, asset managers and corporates.
Arun has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, US, and a Masters in International Economics and Management from SDA Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. He is a CFA Charterholder and a CAIA Charterholder. His undergraduate degree is from UMIST, UK. He is also a university lecturer on portfolio management, ESG and risk management.
He has been volunteering with CFA over the past fifteen years, holding board and leadership roles. Currently he contributes to CFA UK: Inclusion & Diversity Committee (vice-chair), Pension Expert Panel, ESG Group and CFA UK's Investment (Reserves) Committee (vice-chair).
Arun also acts as an Ambassador for the Diversity Project and Reboot. He has also formerly the President of the University of Chicago Alumni Club of Singapore. He is also a regular speaker at investment conferences and for the media.
Ms. Angelina Kwan - Advisory Council Member
Angelina Kwan, CPA, CA ANZ, is Chief Executive Officer of Stratford Finance Limited, a consulting company focused on regulatory and operational issues in the financial services and digital assets space and advises brokerages, fund managers, and technology providers.
Passionate about technology, digital assets, Blockchain, and advising start-ups, Angelina recently held Senior Advisor and Group Chief Operating Officer roles at HashKey Group. This regulated digital assets company recently received the second Approval in Principle from the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission to operate a virtual asset trading platform.
She has previously held Chief Operating Officer and Directorate positions with international digital asset exchanges, HKEX, Cantor Fitzgerald, the SFC, and other global financial services companies.
Angelina serves on Hong Kong Government-appointed Boards and charities, including the New Business Committee, the Financial Services Development Council, and the Lord Wilson Heritage Trust Board of Trustees. She is Vice Chair, Company Secretary of The Women's Foundation, the Ebenezer School for the Blind, and the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute.
She is a Certified Public Accountant in the United States, Hong Kong, Australia, and New Zealand and a graduate of the University of Southern California in Finance and Accounting. Her MBA is from Pepperdine University, LLB from HKU/Manchester Metropolitan University, and LLM from Harvard Law School.
Ms. Ka Shi Lau, BBS - Advisory Council Member
After serving as Managing Director & CEO for over 22 years and navigating BCT Group to reach new horizons and marking the group's history with major transformations, Ms. Ka Shi Lau assumed in June 2022 the role of Senior Advisor while she continues her representation on executive committees of various industry/professional organisations and close liaison with the Government and regulators. Under her leadership, BCT Group became a leading provider of MPF/ORSO products and best-in-class asset servicing for investment funds and pensions.
Graduated with an MBA from Cornell University in USA, Ka Shi is also a Fellow of Chartered Governance Institute (FCG), Fellow of Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute (HKFCG), and Senior Fellow of Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute. She is a strong advocate of corporate governance and sustainability, retirement protection, social inclusion and diversity, and health care through active participation in government consultations and industry dialogues.
Apart from being the Chairman of Hong Kong Trustees' Association, Vice Chairman of Asian Corporate Governance Association and a Member of Academy of Finance, she also serves on other statutory and professional bodies including Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority, Securities and Futures Commission, Hong Kong Retirement Schemes Association, Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Our Hong Kong Foundation. Her public service roles have included Minimum Wage Commission, Hospital Authority, Women's Commission, Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital, Financial Services Development Council, Investor and Financial Education Council, and Trade Development Council. For recognition of her public and community service in Hong Kong, she was awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star (BBS) by the HKSAR Government in 2013.
Ka Shi was the first woman to win the “Director of the Year Award” in the “Private Companies, Executive Director” category from The Hong Kong Institute of Directors. She was named “Professional of the Year” in the “Women of Influence Awards 2010” co-organised by the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and the South China Morning Post. In 2018, Ka Shi was selected by AsianInvestor as one of the “AI 20 Leading Pension Executives” in the region. While in 2021, she garnered the “Lifetime Achievement Award - MPF” at the Asia Asset Management's “Best of the Best Awards”.
Mr. David Peng - Advisory Council Member
David Peng is a Senior Consultant for China Strategy at AXA Investment Managers. Since March 2022, he has supported senior management leaders in their continued growth and commitment to China's financial services industry.
Previously, David was Head of Asia Pacific ex Japan at Legal & General Investment Management, before which he was Head of Asia ex-Japan for Standard Life Investments (now abrdn plc) for over seven years.
David was with BlackRock (and its predecessor Merrill Lynch Investment Managers and Mercury Asset Management) for 15 years and was instrumental in building their Taiwan and China businesses. With BlackRock's predecessor acquisitions, David built Merrill Lynch Investment Managers' China institutional business and Mercury Asset Management's Taiwan strategy and business. At BlackRock, he held senior management positions including Managing Director and Chief Representative for China, Deputy CEO, and Head of Sales and Marketing of BlackRock's joint venture in China with the Bank of China.
Before joining Mercury Asset Management, David was Associate Director of China Business with Aetna Investment Management, the investment arm of Aetna Life & Casualty. He was instrumental in establishing a joint venture private equity fund management company between Aetna and the Bank of China. David has also worked in the high-tech industries in Beijing and Taipei.
David received his B.A. from Columbia College, Columbia University, in 1983, majoring in Political Science and International Relations. David graduated from Thunderbird School of Global Management in 1987 with a master's degree in international management. He received the General Barton Kyle Yount Award given to the member of each graduating class who most adheres to those ideals from the standpoint of scholarship, accomplishment, and character.
Mr. John Spence - Advisory Council Member
John Spence is Managing Director of Asian Capital Advisors, a strategic advisory firm specialising on the Asian insurance market.
John brings extensive expertise in facilitating M&A transactions, fashioning innovative customer offers, forging distribution partnerships, and fuelling the growth of digital initiatives and insurtech business models. With his commitment to deliver results, John is available to be engaged as consultant, board advisor, or non-executive director.
Based in Hong Kong since 2000, John's Asian experience comprises of senior business leadership and corporate governance roles at Generali Asia, Keefe, Bruyette & Woods (KBW), Macquarie Funds Group and Manulife Financial. Prior to moving to Hong Kong John held roles in with Manulife Financial based in Canada and in Australia with National Australia Bank, Colonial Mutual, AMP Society and KPMG.
John is a regular contributor to industry conferences participating in panels and delivering presentations on ESG, the impact of digital technologies on insurance practices and trends in merger and acquisitions. John is a mentor for the RGA Leaders of Tomorrow Program and is member of several industry and professional associations advisory committees including Chair, Pacific Insurance Conference 2022 Advisory Committee and Chair, 2023 Global Insurance Forum Advisory Board. John's contribution to the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand was recognized in 2022 with his advancement to Fellow.

Mr. Arvind Sundaresan - Advisory Council Member
Arvind Sundaresan is Vice President and Head of Customer Success for APJ at UiPath, a World's leading RPA Software Company. He has been in this current role since May 2022. Before this, Arvind was Chief Customer Officer, APJ - Cloud Success Services, at SAP Asia Ltd and has also held leadership roles pan APAC/ Middle East at Capgemini and Infosys. Across these roles, Arvind has helped organizations across the world transform their operations and businesses for over a few decades.
Arvind has held leadership roles for FSI Industry across the region and is well acknowledged and recognized as a “Fintech/ Insurtech” influencer and thought leader by many of his peers in the industry. He has also been an investor in financial markets and products for years.

Agnes is the director of her family office, Great Glory Investment Corporation, and senior advisor to iPartners Holdings Ltd. In the past 44 years, she has served the financial community across four jurisdictions, and her board training in sustainability, governance, strategy, and risk oversight spans five continents.
She holds a Climate Designation certificate from Competent Boards, a Sustainability and Climate Risk certificate, a Financial Risk Manager certification from the Global Association of Risk Professionals, a Board.

Agnes has a Ph.D. (2022) from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with a dissertation titled “Do carbon risks matter for Hong Kong equity prices?" and an MBA (1980) from the University of Chicago - Booth School of Business, a B.Sc. (Honors, 1978) from Roosevelt University in the USA, and is a graduate of the Stanford University Senior Executive Leadership Program and the 2011 Stanford Directors' College.
She has authored a book on investing in H-shares, a Harvard Business case, a chapter in CFA Society Hong Kong's 30th-anniversary book 'Rise from Crises,' and a book 'Tall Miracles.'
Prof. Christine Loh, SBS, OBE, JP - Advisory Council Member
Christine Loh, SBS, JP, OBE, Chevalier de l'Ordre National du Mérite, is Chief Development Strategist at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology's (HKUST) Institute for the environment.
She co-created and co-taught a course on Sustainability as a Competitive Advantage at HKUST's Business School in 2018 and 2021 and currently contributes to various classes relating to Sustainability. She also created and taught a course on Non-Market Risks at the University of California's Anderson School of Management in Los Angeles (UCLA) between 2018-2022.
Since 2021, Loh has been a Senior Advisor to Teneo, a global consultancy working with CEOs, and in 2022 she also became an Advisor to the Board of the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park. She is a Director and Trustee of CDP Worldwide, a Director of the Global Maritime Forum, and Towngas Smart Energy Company Limited, a Hong Kong-listed company with extensive energy business in mainland China.
She is a sought-after speaker on sustainability issues, including climate change, as well as green finance/ESG and related policies. She regularly briefs finance houses and business groups on geopolitical matters (such as US-China relations and climate change issues). She is also a member of BASF's Stakeholder Advisory Council.
She was the Under Secretary for the Environment in the HKSAR Government from 2012-17. Her direct policy responsibilities included air quality, energy, climate change, and biodiversity. She worked with Mainland Chinese counterparts to define new policies to control shipping emissions, an area of work she pioneered before joining the HKSAR Government, changing China's national policy in this area. Between April 2019 and March 2020, she was the Special Consultant to the Office of the Chief Executive of the HKSAR Government on the ecological civilization aspects of the Greater Bay Area Outline Development Plan.
Loh is a published author of many books and academic and popular works, including on public policy, US-China relations, climate change, the environment, history, and Hong Kong's constitutional development. She is a regular columnist for the South China Morning Post and the China Daily.
Loh holds an English law degree from the University of Hull, England, and a Master of Law degree in Chinese and Comparative Law from the City University of Hong Kong. She has been awarded the Doctor of Law, honoris causa, by the University of Hullin 2001, and Doctor of Science, honoris causa by the University of Exeter in 2016.
Dr. Jeanne Ng - Advisory Council Member
Dr. Jeanne Ng has 30 years of experience in the environmental and sustainability fields and holds a BSc in Toxicology from the University of Toronto and a Ph.D. in Environmental Management from the University of Hong Kong.
With almost a decade of consulting experience in Hong Kong's environmental industry, she was regarded in the 90s as one of Hong Kong's foremost experts in air and greenhouse gas emissions inventories and developed Hong Kong's first greenhouse gas inventory manual for the HKSAR Government.
Jeanne was a founding member of BlueOnion and was it's Chief Sustainability Officer; she was the Director of CLP Research Institute. She joined CLP in 2003 and was involved in starting up its Group Environmental Affairs, Group Sustainability, and more recently the CLP Research Institute functions. She established the data management system and governance processes necessary for the delivery of CLP's award-winning Sustainability Report and was a key contributor to setting up CLP Group's first renewable energy targets and Climate Vision 2050 carbon reduction targets.
Dr. Ng is also the Founding Chair of the Hong Kong Institute of Qualified Environmental Professionals (HKIQEP), which was formed to support the creation and development of the environmental professional industry in Hong Kong and beyond. She has had many international engagements and is currently a Board member of the Global Electronics Council (GEC) and a member of the Prince's Accounting for Sustainability Project (A4S) Expert Panel. She was previously a Board member of the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC), as well as a member of the Advisory Council of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) and the Stakeholder Council of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).
